What Sideview can and can’t see
Conversations, pages and addresses: what is read, when, and where it goes.

Your conversations
The free extension doesn’t read conversation contents or page text. It reads chat addresses and titles in the panel to remember your tabs, which you can turn off. Pro tools read a page or chat only when you use them, and what they read goes into the chat you chose or a file you save, never to us.
No analytics in the extension
The extension has no browsing analytics. Your chats go straight to the AI you picked. This website counts visits without cookies.
Why Sideview changes AI sites’ headers
AI sites tell browsers not to show them inside a frame, and the side panel is one. Sideview removes those two headers for the AI you picked, only inside its own panel. The same sites in a normal tab are untouched.
