Settings, languages and devices

Choose your AIs and start page, change language, and allow the microphone or camera.

Open settings

Choose ⋯ > Settings in the panel, or right-click the toolbar icon and choose Options for the same settings in a full tab. Search settings if you’re not sure where something is.

Choose your AIs

Providers hides and reorders AIs. General sets the AI new chats start with, Sideview’s own theme, whether chats are remembered and when unused tabs sleep. AI sites keep their own theme settings.

Microphone, camera and location

Go to Settings > Microphone & camera and allow what you want to use. Sideview opens the full settings tab so the browser can ask you; AI sites in the panel can then use it. Sideview only checks access briefly and never records audio or video, or keeps your location. You can take access back in the browser’s site settings.
