The extension

The Sideview extension shows AI chat websites you choose in Chrome’s side panel. It stores your Sideview settings in your browser. It does not read the pages you visit or your conversations, and it has no analytics. Your conversations are between you and the AI provider, under that provider’s own privacy policy.

Your Sideview account

An account is only needed for Sideview Pro. When you create one we store:

• Your email address and a securely hashed password, held by our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Your subscription status, so Pro can be unlocked.

If you sign in for Pro, the extension asks this website whether your account has Pro. That request says nothing about the pages you visit, the AI providers you use, or your conversations. If you never sign in, the extension never contacts us.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe keeps billing records such as invoices as the law requires, including after you delete your account.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We use a cookie only to keep you signed in.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising.
• We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. This removes your account and ends any subscription. To ask about your data, email support@example.com.
