Signing in to AI sites

Fix sign-ins that don’t finish, blank pages and errors inside the panel.

Already signed in elsewhere?

The panel shares your browser’s sign-ins, so an AI you’re signed in to in a normal tab is usually signed in in the panel too. If it isn’t, sign in in a normal tab, then choose ⋯ > Reload this chat.

A sign-in page does nothing in the panel

Some sign-in pages can’t open inside a panel. When Sideview offers Sign in in a new tab, use it and finish signing in there; the tab closes and the panel reloads. Some sign-in methods use a popup instead.

A blank page or an error

1. Choose ⋯ > Reload this chat. Switching tabs and back keeps a chat loaded, so it doesn’t reload it.
2. Check that the AI works in a normal browser tab.
3. Check that its site access is on in your browser’s settings for Sideview. Every built-in AI works straight after install, and the panel offers to turn one back on if it was switched off.

AI sites change their pages from time to time. If one stops working, email us with the AI, your browser and Sideview version.
